I was recently looking into registering my dog as a therapy/companion dog. Iām not sure what all is required to do so but it seemed fairly simple. Any info on this would be helpful! Thanks 
I think the first step would be to get your dog's CGC and CGC-A certifications (Basic and Advanced obedience). You can pull up the information on their requirements and locate Evaluators in your area on the AKC website. Your pet would need both of these in order to advance towards Therapy or Service work.
